Grace and Dan met through mutual friends on an intramural kickball team in September 2020. Grace was living with her parents in Naperville about to start nursing school, and Dan had just bought his own condo in Lincoln Park. What perfect timing! After the first game, Grace’s friends’ Sydney and Freeman both separately proclaimed to her that she was going to date Dan. Grace suddenly began to LOVE kickball, and was excited for the drive in rush hour each week to make the game. Dan slowly began making his move, and Grace for sure knew he was interested when he wanted to go to Golden Apple at midnight after the game, even with an 8am dentist appointment the next day. It was in the midst of eating a chicken salad sandwich and soup combo when Dan held Grace’s hand, and they were locked in. A month later they became literally locked in after attending a super-spreader Halloween party, and Grace decided to stay with Dan to “heal from Covid”.

Since this whirlwind kickball era, Grace and Dan’s relationship has grown and changed in so many ways, as well as the interior design of Dan’s condo! They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together, and thrilled to celebrate with all of you on 7.12.25.
